Job Description Office Assistant - Part-time/Full-time Rare opportunity in growing Decatur, TX engineering consulting firm for entry level assistant position that has notable potential for growth, career advancement and long-term educational support. Our company is looking for an Office Assistant at our Decatur, TX location that is highly organized, with a kind, welcoming, professional style of communication and service to others. The qualified candidate will need to work well with team members and clients, help keep track of all incoming communications, making sure information is disseminated to the appropriate people and follow-up occurs. This person will be responsible for keeping the office supplied and organized, including digital and physical filing. Must be comfortable with computers. Responsibilities and Qualifications: These will be discussed in further detail but in general will reflect the below: •Maintaining hospitable, clean, orderly, professional office work environments •Welcoming visitors in-person and virtually •Answering communication such as calls, emails, and messaging •Ensure the office runs smoothly and communication is timely •Take notes and deliver messages •Schedule meetings and send meeting invites to attendees •Overseeing clerical tasks, such as collecting, scanning and organizing incoming mail •Maintain office supplies inventory and ordering •Maintain digital and physical files •Assist with preparation and greeting at marketing events, networking events and company sponsored community service •Manage travel plans for team members securing best option travel arrangements, housing, etc. •Associates (2-year) degree •Monday-Friday in-person 40-hour week - with occasional Saturdays for special events (anticipate Saturday workdays to be 4 days a year or less) •Benefits include Tuition reimbursement opportunities for relevant education, health insurance, PTO (Personal Time Off)
