Job PurposeThe Office Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to the Community General Manager/Assistant Community Manager. Duties and Responsibilities
- Assists the Community General Manager/Community Manager with administrative and customer service duties on a daily basis.
- Always provides top-notch customer service.
- Assists residents and other guests as they enter the Clubhouse, Sales Office, or other common community areas.
- Performs administrative duties including but not limited to: email correspondence with residents and prospective residents, answering and returning phone calls, and ensuring office organization and supply needs are maintained.
- Handles mail and package deliveries.
- Create an inviting office environment by maintaining the office's cleanliness, making coffee for guests, and always greeting the guest with a smile.
- Assists with the planning and hosting of community events, including parties, fundraisers, and pool operation.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with others verbally, in writing, and in person
- Excellent time management skills
- Excellent customer service skills; able to connect with others and build relationships.
- Basic computer proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, including the ability to use email and internet
- A valid driver's license, clean driving record, and automobile insurance
