Spherion is hiring an Office Assistant for an auto shop in Wichita Falls, TX. This position will move the Office Assistant between the office and the shop, so candidates must be comfortable in a physically active job. Office experience is required with knowledge of QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel to be considered. The employee will start in an Assistant position, and then will be trained to be the Office Manager over the course of a year. Working schedule is Monday - Friday 8am-5pm. Responsibilities: - Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely services. - Carry out all daily administrative/ clerical responsibilities and ensure paperwork is done accurately and timely - Heavy paperwork and data entry into Excel spreadsheets - Receive & order parts - Manage technicians and delegate responsibilities - Be able to help in the shop, unloading glass from trucks, getting VINs - Clean the bathroom Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Skills: Must be able to work in a very fast paced environment and be detail oriented Ability to multitask and handle heavy paperwork workload Work well in a small team environment Comfortable being physically active. Education: High School Experience: 1-4 years Qualifications: Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally and be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, hoist oneself into trucks and cars for up to 8 hours.
