Rick's Seafood, a leading name in seafood distribution, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Office Assistant to join our team. This role ensures smooth day-to-day office operations while supporting the company's commitment to providing the freshest seafood to our customers.
Responsibilities:
- Administrative Support: Perform general clerical duties, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining files.
- Order Processing: Accurately process customer orders, coordinate with the warehouse team, and ensure timely delivery schedules.
- Accounts Management: Assist with accounts payable and receivable tasks, including invoicing and payment tracking.
- Inventory Coordination: Update and maintain records of inventory and assist with supply orders when needed.
- Customer Interaction: Provide professional and friendly support to customers and vendors via phone and email.
- Record Keeping: Maintain and organize company records and assist with data entry tasks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred.
- Previous experience in an administrative or office assistant role is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus.
Work Environment:
