Per year, across America, thousands of new buildings sport the familiar Morton M.The Commodity Assistant is a full-time position responsible for performing administrative duties to support and ensure the smooth operations of the Product Delivery Department.Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.Essential FunctionsCoordinates Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable tasks for the department; generating purchase orders; reviewing and processing invoices, identifying invoicing discrepancies and collaborating with appropriate personnel to find timely resolutions.Assists Commodity Managers in measuring the performance and effectiveness of vendors and suppliers; managing vendor scorecards; communicating, processing, and tracking claims for supplier-related issues.Provides general departmental support, managing Corporate Lodging Card processes, assisting with recordkeeping requirements and general file management.Performs other duties as assigned.Required Education and ExperienceAssociates Degree or 1 year of experience in related fieldStrong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent follow throughHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentAble to work independently, as well as within a team settingSelf-starter with a positive, willing to learn attitudeProficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook email, Word, and ExcelFamiliarity with MBI business practices and ERP systems is preferredMorton Buildings, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer and Drug-Free Workplace.#J-18808-Ljbffr
