Position Summary

Supports office administrative functions and processes with assistance, backup, and coordination duties. Responsible for greeting visitors and delivering exceptional customer service assistance. Responsible for providing an overall welcoming environment.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Greet and directs employees, customers and visitors with a positive, helpful attitude.

* Responsible for providing administrative services by answering phones, directing calls and assisting with all aspects of office duties.

* Helping maintain workplace security by issuing, checking and collecting badges as necessary and maintaining visitor logs.

* Assisting with a variety of administrative tasks.

* Sorting and distributing mail.

* Provide excellent customer service.

* Ensure office area is always clean - specifically the reception area, conference rooms and the kitchen.

* Load and empty the dishwashers each day and clean out the refrigerators as needed.

* Maintain an orderly work area by organizing workspace and maintaining general office supplies.

* Assists with planning and coordinating events or projects with internal stakeholders.

* Monitors inventory and places orders for office supplies, or provisions.

* May assist HR activities such as employee onboarding, interview coordination, training initiatives, and other special projects.

* Addresses routine day-to-day problems or coordinates with stakeholders to obtain solutions.

* Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Abilities

* Consistent, professional dress and manner.

* Friendly, extremely organized and comfortable multitasking.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

* Good time management skills.

* Able to contribute positively as part of a team, helping out with various tasks as required.

Education and Experience

* High School diploma or equivalent

* Prior experience as a receptionist or in related field.

* Experience with administrative and clerical procedures.

* Will consider combination of education and experience.

Other Requirements

* Current valid U.S. driver's license.
