Scion Staffing, a full-service national staffing firm, has been engaged to conduct a search for an Office Coordinator for immediate hire at an amazing non-profit in the educational leadership development space in Austin, TX! This is a full-time, direct hire, and onsite opportunity. Reporting to the Chief of Staff, this role's main responsibility is ownership of the front desk by greeting staff and visitors and professionally answering phone calls with a friendly, warm and helpful manner.RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Oversee inbound/outbound delivery of mail and packages.
  • Track office supply inventory and place orders when needed.
  • Ensure meetings spaces are set up, including A/V, for seamless execution of meetings.
  • Align with team members to identify any additional meeting needs such as printing, meeting supplies, or coordination of meal deliveries.
  • Have a working knowledge of A/V systems to troubleshoot minor issues for team members.
  • Operate and maintain standard office equipment on a regular basis, including copy machine, computer(s) and fax machine.
  • Maintain the receptionist area, all common areas and office supply storage in a clean and tidy manner always to ensure ease of use for team members.
  • Support in managing the day-to-day operational, administrative and calendar activities of 1-2 senior staff.
  • Book travel arrangements 1-2 senior staff as assigned to include hotel stays, airfare and/or car rentals.
  • Assist in managing short-term projects through current systems such as Asana
  • Identify improvements in processes, office organization, and workflow and design and implement new systems.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2-3 years of front desk office experience required.
  • Experience working in a non-profit or education institution desired.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong customer service and servant leadership skills.
  • Organized and with a high attention to detail.
  • Displays the ability to be proactive in working to resolve administrative problems by using critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent technical and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent at multi-tasking and time management.
  • A bachelor's degree from a four-year accredited college or university is desired.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: This exciting career opportunity allows you to work with a passionate and thriving team! The salary range for this role is $57,000-$60,000yr annually.
