The Center for Policy Research Office Coordinator provides fiscal support for a large policy research program, which includes reimbursement processing, supply purchasing, and assisting the Associate Director with budget and fiscal matters; provides administrative support to faculty (e.g., meeting and event scheduling, recommendation letters etc.); handles front desk operations; and serves as backup for social media (Facebook, Twitter, news releases) and CPR's internal and public-facing events as needed.
Education and Experience
* Associates' degree, business school, or equivalent office work experience, including sufficient computer training.
* Must have experience using Microsoft Office software suite.
* Ability to work on various projects and to work independently.
* Organizational skills and attention to detail a must.
* Must have good writing and interpersonal communications skills.
* Experience working within higher education is a plus.

* The key skills needed are Microsoft Office software expertise, social media (Facebook & Twitter), Zoom operations, and the ability to remain professional in a high traffic, ever changing work environment.

Responsibilities
* Front desk operations - Greet visitors to the Center for Policy Research office complex.
* Direct faculty, staff, or students to the appropriate room, floor, department, and building.
* Maintain a professional demeanor while juggling a variety of responsibilities.
* Exercise independent judgment in the management of the front desk operation.
* Process fiscal paperwork (travel and expense reimbursements, supply orders).
* Initiate reimbursement paperwork and follow through to ensure transaction is completed.
* Process all orders from start to finish.
* Includes processing all orders, expediting, maintaining records, and ensuring timely delivery.
* Track expenditures on internal research charges.
* Troubleshoot day-to-day problems involving fiscal matters.
* Provide administrative staff support for Center faculty. This includes but is not limited to, meeting and event scheduling, recommendation letters, and research-related paperwork.
* Assist Associate Director with budget and fiscal matters. This includes assisting with budget reconciliation.
* Provide backup for social media and CPR webmaster and for CPR's internal and public facing events.
