Job Description :
The Office Coordinator I is responsible for receiving and sending referrals, compiling outside patient records, scheduling patient appointments, screening and properly directing calls coming into the department. Knowledgeable of oncology specific documents needed for a consulting physician prior to patient appointment. Understands the structure and function of supporting departments utilized by oncology program. The Office Coordinator I is also responsible for assisting with prior authorizations of patient treatments, procedures or imaging studies. Job Requirements Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent Experience Preferred: Previous work experience in health care Skills Working knowledge of word processing, English grammar, and correspondence format Possesses basic office computer skills Knowledge of current medical terminology Flexibility and ability to work in a multi-tasking environment Able to work well under pressure, prioritize tasks, and use own initiative Licens...Office Coordinator, Coordinator, Healthcare, Business Services, Office, Patient
