About the Role
Reporting to the Global Events Program Manager, this role will optimize the office as a key events hub, focusing on space planning, vendor management, and delivering excellent customer support. The ideal candidate will excel at multitasking, tackling projects with a “no task is too small” attitude, and working effectively with a variety of personalities. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills are key to success in this role.
Job Duties:
- Coordinate Events: Oversee event planning and execution, including space setup, vendor coordination, and customer support for the Events as a Service (EaaS) program. Support marquee events to ensure success.
- Standardize Event Processes: Implement a consistent, efficient event model across locations to deliver seamless experiences.
- Optimize Event Spaces: Work with the Global Events Program Manager to maximize the use of event spaces and ensure they are well-equipped.
- Manage Vendors: Build and maintain vendor relationships, negotiate pricing, and collaborate with Procurement and Travel teams.
- Provide Event Support: Assist team leaders and onsite hosts with planning and executing events, ensuring they run smoothly and meet participants' needs.
- Track and Report: Analyze event data and create reports to evaluate success and identify areas for improvement.
Required Qualifications:
- You have 3+ years of event planning experience and strong project or program management skills.
- You're skilled in vendor management and have experience with tools like Google Suite, Slack, and Jira.
- You thrive in ownership, taking projects from start to finish with minimal supervision.
- You work collaboratively and support team goals, embracing “One Team, One Fight” mentality.
