About the Role: We are partnering with a well-established construction company seeking an experienced Office Manager/Bookkeeper to join their team. This is a direct-hire opportunity offering long-term stability and growth within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and proficient in Sage Timberline software.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including administrative tasks, scheduling, and communication.
  • Oversee bookkeeping duties, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Reconcile accounts and assist with financial reporting.
  • Coordinate and support project managers with budgeting, forecasting, and job costing.
  • Handle vendor relations and assist with procurement of materials.
  • Manage office supplies and equipment inventory.
  • Assist with the preparation of financial statements and tax filings.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an office manager and/or bookkeeper, ideally in the construction industry.
  • Strong proficiency in Sage Timberline software (required).
  • In-depth understanding of accounting principles and construction industry-specific financials.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, etc.).
  • A degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field is preferred but not required.
