Job summary: CCI is seeking a highly organized and proactive Office Manager to join our team and contribute to the smooth operation of the team. The Office Manager will be responsible for overseeing a range of administrative tasks, managing office resources, and fostering a positive and productive work environment for our team. This role is based in the corporate office in Dallas, Texas, and requires regular on-site presence.

Essential duties and responsibilities include the following:

  • Coordinate schedules and meetings between CCI's executive team and various outside business associates and other contacts on a regular basis.

  • Coordinate schedules and meetings between CCI's executive team and Sammons leadership (including members of the Sammons Executive Committee, Key Officers, and Independent Directors) as needed from time to time.

  • Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlords to ensure smooth operations, including regular stocking of supplies and refreshments for company work café and boardroom catering kitchen.

  • Plan and execute office events, meetings, and conferences, including catering and logistics.

  • Serve as primary liaison for various charitable organizations supported by CCI and its operating partners.

  • Liaise with key SEI department representatives, as needed, including HR, Legal and Communications.

  • Support company operations by maintaining office systems, information technology and audio/visual support.

  • Oversee office maintenance, repairs, and renovations, as needed.

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the office environment.

  • Assist in coordination of travel logistics and quarterly board meetings with outside operating partners.

  • Assist from time to time in preparation of recurring reporting requirements (in close collaboration with other CCI team members).

  • Will initially assist with the coordination of moving into the new office space (coordination of furniture arrivals/placement, office equipment & supplies, café area equipment & supplies, assigning access cards and parking spaces, etc.).

Qualifications. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below represent some of the necessary knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Education & Experience: A bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of office management, executive support, or administrative experience in a corporate environment, preferably in real estate, investment, or financial services preferred.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with a strong attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with executives, business associates, and external partners.

  • Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and familiarity with office management tools and technology.

  • Experience managing vendor relationships and coordinating office operations.

  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
