The E.W Scripps Company is seeking an Office Services Clerk I. This person will perform a variety of general housekeeping, supply stocking, and clerical responsibilities.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
* Open, sort and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and email.
* Greet visitors and determine whether they should be given access to specific individuals.
* Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters, other documents, using word processing, spreadsheets, database, and/or presentation software.
* Perform general office duties such as ordering supplies, maintaining records management systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work.
* Maintain inventory flow and storage of office supplies.
* Participate in building safety and evacuation team at supervisor's direction.
* Perform other duties as needed and as directed by supervisor/management.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
* High school diploma or equivalent
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
* Basic math, reading and computer skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook and Excel
* Resourceful, possess excellent communication skills, ability to work with public and with other office personnel in person and by telephone
* Strong attention to detail
* Lifting required: must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

COMPENSATION RANGE:
: $18.75 - $24.00
Pursuant to state and local salary transparency laws, the salary range posted is specific to candidates who will perform this work in New York.
