Office Specialist (Paid Internship) A local office is looking for an Audiologist Specialist Intern for their Franklin location. This private practice is looking for the right person to assist their growing needs. It is a great opportunity for someone with the desire to improve income with commissions. The ideal candidate will have great customer service acumen while becoming a PA Apprentice Hearing Instrument Fitter. This is a great opportunity for an individual that would like to learn the trade and have a long term, full time career path. Responsibilities

• Assist with social media-brainstorming ideas to stay relevant
• Creating fun social media posts
• Maintain patient records
• Educate patients about the diagnosis
• Top notch customer service
• Sales of devices
• Work toward certification
• Assist with examining patients
• Learn to administer routine hearing exams
• Review results of tests with patients
• Fit and adjust hearing aids for patients
• MUST be willing to travel to the Erie office for training every Monday and Wednesday for the first two months.
• MUSTcommit to studying for and passing the certification exam.

Qualifications and Skills

• Strong retail and customer service background preferred
• PA Apprentice Hearing Instrument Fitter
• Problem-solving skills
• Ideal candidate would have strong work history with longevity

Benefits/Compensation

• This position is a Full time opportunity for the right individual
• Paid training opportunity while working to become certified
• Starting $18.00/hour based on experience, increased pay following certification
• 1stShift Monday through Friday 8:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M

Location

• Rotation between Franklin, PA & Erie, PA offices
