Job Location : Norristown,PA, USA
The Office Support V position is assigned to the Assets & Infrastructure Office. This position will complete various operations and projects that benefit the Assets & Infrastructure Office and residents of Montgomery County. The goal of this position is to assist the community and vendors when they contact the office (by phone or in person) as well as support other county staff.
* Assists Administrative Coordinator with various projects and tasks as assigned.
* Greets visitors and answers incoming calls and emails in a professional and friendly manner.
* Deal with complaints and questions and give accurate information.
* Prepares reports and summaries as requested.
* Completes work pertinent to all Assets and Infrastructure divisions as requested.
* Completes personnel requisitions and change requests as assigned.
* Will liaise with other county staff as needed to fulfill assignments.
* Maintains tracking as assigned.
* Purchasing of supplies as needed.
* Assistance with staff onboarding and surveys.
* Maintenance of databases.
* Update information available in the A&I office at set intervals.
* Attend meetings and trainings as requested.
* Provide support to admin assistants or management as assigned.
* Completes processing of invoices, requisitions, reimbursements and budget tracking as needed.
* Other duties as assigned.

* Two (2) years' experience in an office setting including customer service responsibilities.
* Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. Associate degree or two (2) years of technical school training in a related field preferred.
* Must have excellent computer skills including experience with Microsoft 365.
* Must project a pleasant and professional presence when interacting with the public.
* Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
* Must be proficient in typing.
* Enthusiasm for engaging in new unfamiliar tasks.
* Flexibility with respect to changing assignments and ability to prioritize and remain organized.
* Driver's License preferred.
