In this role, you will be part of a team dedicated to assisting Protection and Safety Caseworkers in their critical work, providing clerical support, and ensuring smooth operations for our agency. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and experience in clerical support or customer service. If you have experience working with the public, managing confidential information, and using office software, we encourage you to apply! Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct customer service and perform clerical/administrative tasks to support Protection and Safety Caseworkers.
  • Assist clients by receiving them, answering multi-line phones, and providing general information to clients and the community.
  • Perform data entry and retrieval using agency computer systems, ensuring information is accurately entered into databases.
  • Organize, file, and maintain records, including document imaging and sorting.
  • Handle incoming mail, complete forms, copy documents, and search records as needed.
  • Schedule and arrange transport for clients when required.
  • Operate office equipment, such as multi-line phones, scanners, and computers.
Requirements/ Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Coursework/training or experience in public contact, customer service, and/or performing and applying office/clerical support procedures, including the use of a personal computer, associated software, and office equipment. Other: A valid driver's license or the ability to provide independent authorized transportation. Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working with the public.
  • Experience answering phones.
  • Experience working with confidential information.
  • Experience with entering information into data base systems
  • Microsoft Office/ computer skills/ Excel/ Word/ Nuance
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to answer phones in a professional manner.
