Summary of Duties:
The Official Residence Supervisor reports to the office of Canada's Ambassador to the United States and manages the operations of Canada's Official Residence (OR) in Washington D.C., including overseeing and coordinating: (1) hospitality functions held in the OR; (2) meal preparation and service for events; (3) daily housekeeping and deep cleaning, building and equipment maintenance and landscaping; inventory/supply management of food, alcohol, supplies and equipment; and other associated duties as determined by the Ambassador's office. The incumbent contributes to financial forecasting and expenditure reconciliation of operational costs associated with the residence and hospitality events. Responsibilities include the supervision of OR staff and contract personnel.
