The Construction Representative coordinates with the PIC and Contractor(s) Superintendent to ensure the successful completion of the project. The Construction Representative reports to the Construction Manager or Project Manager.Requirements
  • Performs Quality control surveillance of welding, coating, dimensional, and mechanical work as required. ?
  • Identifies and documents nonconformities on fabrication and installation.
  • Coordinate logistics planning with clerk or logistics coordinator for personnel, equipment and materials.
  • Monitors schedules and activities of contractor(s) in coordination with the Superintendents and Company Staff. ?
  • Have the ability, skill set, and experience to troubleshoot oilfield systems, red line P&IDs, and able to read drawings to client specifications.
  • Responsible for ensuring project administration and reporting (labor, material, equipment, subcontractor) adheres to requirements and policies established by the Company
  • Ensures applicable measures are employed during construction to minimize adverse environmental or safety impacts and complies with all environmental or safety commitments.
  • Ensure compliance with all provisions of various governmental regulatory agencies.
  • Ensure any design changes or material substitutions have the proper client approval before implementation.
  • Ensure that all required documents are completed and transmitted in accordance with the Company's procedures.
  • Completing and submitting applicable inspection reports that accurately describe the work performed on the project, in a manner such that the areas inspected may subsequently be identified per current standards.
  • Taking proactive approach to safety on the job site.
  • Work with EH&S Representatives to investigate and complete incident and accident reports as warranted.
  • Verify all coating materials used, are in compliance with Company requirements and stored according to product requirements.
  • Paint, coating and sandblasting specifications and processes.
  • Inspecting and monitoring painting, coating and sandblasting.
  • Inspect NDE process to ensure adherence to Company Specifications and State/Federal codes/standards.
  • Minimum of ten years of experience in the offshore construction and inspection industry.
  • Computer and reporting skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and MS Outlook)
