Lead Auditor: Oil/Gas Refinery

Houston, TX

In this role, you will lead and manage audit projects focused on the unique challenges of refinery operations, overseeing multiple audits that address operational, financial, and compliance objectives. You'll engage closely with cross-functional teams to conduct comprehensive assessments, prepare accurate and objective workpapers, and develop practical recommendations to strengthen refinery processes and controls.

• Finalizing Audit Observations for Refinery Operations

Job Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, finance, or a related discipline.
• A strong understanding of refinery operations or petroleum engineering is advantageous.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of professional experience in business, finance, accounting, or a related field, ideally within the Oil & Gas refining sector.
• At least 5 years of audit experience (internal and/or external audit), with 4 years focused on operational audits in refinery settings.
• Demonstrated experience working directly in or with Oil & Gas refineries or downstream operations.
