On Call Archaeologist - Stantec : Job Details

We are looking to expand our Northern California archaeological team. This position can be based out of any of our Nor-Cal offices and will report to our On-Call Staff Supervisor in our Petaluma office. Work will take place throughout California, with potential opportunities in the Alaska, Oregon, Washington, and Nevada. This is a fieldwork position and work need is heavily influenced by the seasonal weather. On occasion, there may be opportunity for office and/or lab-based work. - - Your Key Responsibilities - - Participate in identifying and recording areas of archeological potential, archaeological sites, and traditional use sites. Work closely with a Field Director/ Supervisor to make technical recommendations for cultural resources management.
