Position Purpose:The Applications Solutions Specialist provides users of company-sponsored operational and financial applications with training and support on how to effectively use QuickBooks and other various applications to run their business. This position manages the weekly sales and royalty collection process and reports on non-compliance issues. The position is responsible for providing excellent customer service to all internal and external users.Primary Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain a thorough working knowledge of company-sponsored software applications and their databases.
  • Liaise with ClearCare on a regular basis on platform enhancements, bug fixes, enhancement requests and support issues.
  • Support new Franchisees with initial QuickBooks company file setup, overview of operational procedures, and review of best practices.
  • Assist Franchisees with ClearCare, QuickBooks, IFX and ZeeWise support requests and find a resolution.
  • Monitor all applications for critical enhancements and complete necessary training to provide relevant support to users.
  • Provide alpha/beta testing support for newly released application features.
  • Assist new offices with initial configurations with various applications, coaching on required operational procedures and suggesting best practices.
  • Assist owners, directors and staff with processing weekly payroll and billing.
  • Monitor support ticket traffic for response times and resolution according to company standards.
  • Evaluate support requests on a regular basis, looking for themes that drive training and communication opportunities.
  • Assist users with login issues for all company-sponsored applications.
  • Ensure users receive timely resolution and effective communication related to support requests.
  • Escalate support issues to supervisor or department head as needed.
  • Identify and educate owners, directors, and staff on best practices to improve operational efficiencies.
  • Assist other company departments with openings, resales and closings.
  • Assist field support staff with office performance analysis reviews relating to the use of applications.
  • Generate requested system or location-specific reports.
  • Review weekly royalty collections for accuracy and determine action for any non-reporting or under-reporting locations.
Successful candidates will have:
  • An Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience creating and analyzing financial reports.
  • Strong PC skills with the ability to learn, utilize, and train required programs, software, and technology.
  • Experience with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, payroll/billing, and accounting functions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Effectively analyze information and solve problems.
