On-call Houseperson - Events - Hyatt : Job Details

**Description:**

The Houseperson - Events is responsible for the setup and breakdown of all meeting and event spaces within the hotel. This role requires efficient organization, physical strength, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities**

+ Set up and break down tables, chairs, water stations, and other equipment for meetings and events.

+ Ensure all meeting spaces are prepared according to the event specifications and Hyatt standards.

+ Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas and event spaces.

+ Assist in transporting and organizing supplies and equipment as needed.

+ Communicate effectively with the Events team and other departments to ensure timely execution of tasks.

+ Provide exceptional service to guests and colleagues, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.

**Qualifications:**

+ Good communication skills and the ability to interact positively with team members and guests.

+ Physical ability to lift moderate weights and remain standing for extended periods.

+ Proven ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

+ Experience in event support or similar roles preferred but not required.

+ Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
