The University of Notre Dame Operations, Events, and Safety division is currently hiring for the position of On-Call Host/ Hostess at the Morris Inn. The University Operations, Events, and Safety division leads the Universitys event management, hospitality, and customer service functions while supporting student life, academic endeavors, and research initiatives. Host/ Hostess. The Host/ Hostess will engage with our internal and external guests in a professional, welcoming, consistent and joyful manner in order to ensure the experience is a memorable one while creating return guests for the Morris Inn. Essential duties for the Host/ Hostess include: Manage the OpenTable software to seat, assign tables, and other restaurant duties Information gathering for the front of house, back of house team members, and the guest Seating guests to optimize the dining experience, pacing of the service team, and the optimal use of the dining room.
