We are seeking a detail-oriented Onboarding Specialist to join our dynamic HR team! The Onboarding Specialist will be the cross-functional liaison assisting newly hired candidates with all aspects of onboarding. The ideal individual is organized, with exceptional time management and problem solving abilities. Specific Job Duties Include:
- Assist new hires with the completion of necessary paperwork, ensuring compliance with company and legal requirements within the HRIS system.
- Facilitate the background check process and determine eligibility based on internal hiring policies.
- Maintain accurate and organized onboarding records for auditing purposes.
- Complete customer and internal onboarding access requirements (badging and system access) for the field services division.
- Collaborate with IT to ensure new hires have the necessary equipment and access to required resources.
- Act as a point of contact for new hires, addressing queries and providing ongoing support throughout the onboarding process.
- Collaborate with hiring managers on the coordination and scheduling of a new hire's first day.
- Analyze onboarding metrics and provide weekly reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of recruiting-to-onboarding funnel.
- Compile weekly reports for leadership on onboarding metrics.
- Other administrative HR projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- A minimum of a high school diploma/GED required; bachelor's degree in business administration or human resources is highly preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in a talent acquisition coordinator or an administrative position.
Technical Skills:
- Intermediate to advanced Excel experience.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems and HRIS systems - Jobvite or Paylocity experience is a plus.
Skills and Abilities:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to rely on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines required.
- Detail-oriented and extremely organized.
- Excellent time management skills.
