As the 8th largest employer in Rochester, we are committed to building a team of compassionate professionals who share our vision of enhancing the lives of those we serve.Position Overview: The Onboarding Specialist is responsible for ensuring timely execution and completion of a seamless workflow for each new employee. Responsible for meeting hiring deadlines by staying organized and paying close attention to detail to ensure all background checks and onboarding paperwork is submitted prior to the hire date of the employee.Benefits:Competitive salaryHealth, dental, and vision insuranceGenerous paid time off (vacation, sick leave)Retirement savings planEmployee referral bonus of $1500 or $2000 for RNsOngoing training and professional development opportunitiesMeaningful and rewarding work experience, making a difference in the communityOpportunities for career advancementESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Updates the ATS and hiring pipeline for every step completed during the onboarding process.Sends an instructional email clearly stating all required tasks to each new hire and establishes an onboarding account within 24 hours of assignment.Ensure all hiring paperwork is completed by the new hire 24 hours prior to their scheduled TEAMS meeting.Within 96 hours of assignment, schedules and completes a TEAMS meeting with all new hires.Complete background checks for MHL, CBC, and SCR within 24 hours of the TEAMS meeting. Will complete additional background checks as needed.Provides paperwork for tuberculosis screening to all new hiresCommunicates and coordinates with the Talent Acquisition Manager if background checks come back that are not cleared.Communicates with Talent Acquisition Manager and recruiters if the new hire did not meet all required hiring steps upon discovery.Responsible for meeting goals and expectations for onboarding on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.Advises Talent Acquisition Manager of any obstacles while performing job responsibilities.Tracks TB screenings for all new hires on the orientation roster and communicates with provides (as well as utilizes the portal) if we need documentation proof of screening.Attends new employee orientation (arriving 15 minutes prior to start time) on the first day to get all new hires entered in the timeclock and verify identification for all i9s.Updates CBC database once CBC fingerprint results after confirmation of attendance at New Employee Orientation. No later than 14 days after their hire date.EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Associate's Degree preferred. High School diploma required. Experience with computerized systems is required. Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
