TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Oncology RN in Glens Falls, New York, 12801 Pay Information $2,541 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty: Clinic/Infusion Therapy/Oncology - Chemo Certified Job Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week Experience: 2 years of current experience in outpatient oncology and infusion therapy License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: - Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemo Certification - Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Must-Have: - EPIC Experience - Peripheral IV Insertion experience - Port/Fistula/Catheter experience Job Description: - Provide specialized nursing care in an outpatient setting focused on infusion therapy. - Administer treatments such as IV antibiotics, antifungal treatments, steroids, blood transfusions, and more. - Manage and maintain central venous access devices and PICC lines. - Educate patients on self-administration of medications. - Ensure proper care and maintenance of intrathecal or implanted infusion pumps. - Participate in the administration of specialty medications for various conditions. - Complete required de-escalation training prior to onboarding. - Attend an 8-hour orientation session. - Must be available to work during at least two out of the three major holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Day. - Maintain high standards of patient care excellence as part of a Magnet-recognized organization. - Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. 26562519EXPPLAT Job Requirements Required for Onboarding ACLS BLS Pharmacology Skills Checklist Specialty Exam About Cynet Health Your travel nursing adventure begins here.
