The Mathematics program in the College of Science, Technology, Mathematics, and Health Sciences at Eastern Oregon University is recruiting for a part-time online adjunct educator.We currently need an instructor to teach MATH 111Z - College Algebra for Summer Term 2024. Summer Term classes start June 24, 2024. Additional future assignments may be available. Appointments are based on Departmental need.Responsibilities Eastern Oregon University is seeking applicants interested in teaching online courses in Mathematics. We seek energetic, positive professionals dedicated to teamwork and high-quality undergraduate instruction (individuals with online teaching experience are preferred).The successful candidate must be committed to ensuring that every student is a full member of the EOU community and that all community members recognize, promote and take advantage of the educational and cultural value of diversity.Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Mathematics or a related field
- Teaching experience
- Online teaching experience
- Successful completion of an EOU background check and credential verification and submission of valid work authorization documents
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD in Mathematics or related field. (ABD will be considered)
- Experience with online learning management software (Canvas, etc.)
