This position is first-shift Job Description : Seeking an Associate Software Engineer in Hudson, NH. We have over 800 employees worldwide supporting our customers with high-quality, innovative, and cost-effective information technology and business intelligence solutions. Solutions supports 85 defense, commercial and government customers from over 50 US locations and nine countries, including multiple forward operating bases in Afghanistan. In this role you will support development of Mission Planning Software for the US Air Force and will be embedded within an agile Development Scrum team managed by the Prime contractor. You will assists with the development, documentation and maintenance of architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces and designs for software systems for the Support Agile Aircraft Effort (SAAE). This project includes development of Mission Planning software for the DoD, specifically related to Airdrop, Unique Platform Component (UPC), and NOMS/JOMS. Position Responsibilities: • With general supervision, develops, documents, maintains and unit tests code by utilizing software development environments and programming languages (C#, .NET). • Develops, documents and maintains software design by applying established methods and practices. • Performs troubleshooting of defects. Collabo***s with others to propose solutions to problems. • Gathers and organize data for use in plans, schedules and estimates. • Assist in the specification and maintenance of software requirements. • Integrates and compile software components into builds. May test limited component level software in the target environment. • Documents deployed processes and tools and collect metrics. • Performs troubleshooting of operational and integration issues. May gather and document data on subject matter. • Performs other duties as assigned. • Develops and maintains code and integrates software components into a fully functional software system. • Assists with test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met. Required Skill Set : • Experience with common development environments (Client, JIRA), programming languages, C#, .NET, web frameworks and technologies (HTML5, CSS, React, etc.) • Experience with object-oriented computer programming with direct experience using Visual Studio, C#/.NET, NodeJS, JavaScript/Typescript • Experience with common web frameworks and technologies (HTML5, CSS, React, etc.) • Ability to communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions clearly and effectively to teams and customers. • Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions • Size of the Team: scrum team of 5-7 people • Top 3-5 Soft Skills for culture fit: teamwork/collaboration , communication, adaptable, problem solving, leadership • Any certifications required: No Education Qualification : Associate/Junior Level - Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master. In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Mid-Level - Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience).
