The Onsite Resource Provider (or Onsite Provider) will perform grassroots social work and assist with providing immediate resources for behavioral and emotional health, family, wellness or other life challenges at one of our customer's locations. Services are provided to employees at a distribution center/warehouse. This position is a long term position and has a pay rate of $35/hour.
This position is for two, 4 hour shifts per week (this is not a full time role - Provider will work a total of 8 hours per week)*. Candidates will need to be available to cover all three employee shifts as evenly as possible throughout the month.
The breakdown of employee shifts is as follows:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- 3rd Shift: 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM, Sunday through Thursday

Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide resources for emergency food, housing and utilities as well as referrals for emotional issues, substance abuse, child and elder care, legal, financial or other issues
- Work in tandem with ComPsych Employee Assistance Program
- Fill out applications and forms for housing and utility assistance and other community based resources
- Track and document utilization of services rendered
- Build rapport with building HR, management and store team members to foster participation in the program
- Advocate and educate the telephonic Employee Assistance Program and other benefits that are available to the team members
- Attend team meetings, lunch and learns, new hire orientations, and Meet the Onsite Professional Events
- Communicate on a regular basis with the program supervisor on utilization and program updates as well as challenges that need to be addressed
Qualified Candidates Must Have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Psychology or Social Work or related field (Master's preferred)
- Social work experience, including in person assistance with local resources (i.e. assisting with food stamps, emergency assistance, housing assistance, domestic violence, utility assistance, etc.)
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of community-based resources
- Experience providing resources and referrals within a social work or mental health field, and knowledge of navigating community-based service system effectively and efficiently
- The ability to think and react quickly to changing situations, needs and priorities
- Diligent maintenance of the amount of contractual hours required at each site
- Reliable transportation
- Stable Work History required
