Help make a difference in your community by working as a Security Officer with Per Mar Security Services!

We are looking for flex officers to work all shifts. Flex officers are used to fill temporary accounts, as well as for absences or temporary openings. Availability of hours are based on operational needs, and can vary from week-to-week.

Pay range is $14.00-$18.00+ an hour. This is dependent on the job sites you are filling in for.

Must have a valid driver's license and able to pass a background check for security licensing.

Current and former IL PERC holders highly desired.

Will be flexible with scheduling, be dependable, have excellent customer service skills, have great oral and written communication skills, and have a positive attitude!!

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules

* Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security

* Warn violators of premise rules and regulations

* Address persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts

* Report any facility issues

* Request emergency personnel for high risk situations

Qualifications:

* 18 years of age or older

* Familiarity with security equipment

* Ability to handle physical workload

* Strong attention to detail

* Must possess the values important to Per Mar Security - Integrity, Communication, Excellent Service, and Accountability.

* Must be willing to participate in the Company's pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.
