OpenShift OCP Engineer - 100% remote Primary Location: 100% remote V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a OpenShift OCP Engineer - 100% remote for our premier client. Education and Experience

• OCP (OpenShift Container Platform): Kubernetes platform for hosting docker container-based applications.
• Migration experience from OpenShift-OCP 3 to OpenShift-OCP 4 is highly preferred.
• Middleware experience with JBoss, EAP, or similar.
• Linux experience.
• Red Hat Satellite highly preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Python scripting preferred.
• Terraform/Ansible IaC preferred.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Familiarity with middleware like JBoss, Tomcat, Python.
• Experienced with Dockerfile builds and binary builds and continual deployments.

WHAT YOU'LL DO: Job Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, configuration, migration, maintenance and troubleshooting of OpenShift Platform.
• Supporting client customers on the Openshift Platform.
• Migrating environment from OpenShift 3 to Openshift 4.
• Bash shell scripting.
• Ansible automation.
• Experience with GitOps - Argo CD.
• Assisting in cluster builds, deployments, and administration.
• Determine migration and upgrade impacts and diagnose/resolve complex technology/application errors.
