Operating Principal, Transformation/CFO - Confidential : Job Details

Our client is a leading, high-profile private equity firm that's seeking an Operating Partner/Chief Transformation Officer/Finance Office Officer to join their operating team. The team is based in New York.

The successful candidate will be an experienced investor from a highly regarded private equity or infrastructure investment firm, or an experienced M&A investment banker. It is critical for this individual to have a deep transaction list and strong financial modeling/technical skills. She/he will be responsible for the following and also possess the following qualifications.

Responsibilities:

• Lead post-investment value creation initiatives across portfolio companies.
• Support due diligence by assessing operational and strategic value drivers.
• Perform business diligence to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
• Draft internal and external memoranda on value creation plans and progress.
• Assist in the execution and financing of transactions and post-closing business plans.
• Drive improvements in financial controls, reporting, and business processes.

Qualifications:

• 15+ years of strategy consulting, operating roles, or finance experience focused on operational improvements.
