Candidates with no experience may qualify for a sign-on bonus of $500. United Health Services is seeking Operating Room (OR) Aides to join our teams at UHS Wilson Medical Center. Locations: UHS Wilson Medical Center (WMC) Shifts: 11AM-7:30PM Hours per week: 32 hours per week Salary: $17.00-$22.95/hour, depending on experience Operating Room Aide Position Overview Provides support to the Medical and Nursing staff in the Operating Room Complex and maintains technical competencies as required. Operating Room Aide Responsibilities and Expectations Transports and transfers patient from units and to and from OR table. Performs cleaning duties within the OR suites. Maintains specific OR supply inventories. Holds for preps as necessary. Assists OR team position patients for surgery. Maintains safe corridors - free from clutter. Monitors hallways and removes extraneous equipment, as needed. Supports sterilization and cleaning of instruments. Delivers specimens, equipment, blood, X-rays, and patient records to and from the OR. Stocks supplies and linen as needed.
