A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) for a great Staff Nurse position with their Ambulatory Surgery team in Queens. Responsibilities: The Staff Nurse (RN) - Operating Room Circulating Nurse will: Provide perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room of an ambulatory surgery center Coordinate with surgical team to ensure a safe and efficient surgical experience for patients Assist in preparing operating room equipment, instruments, and supplies Maintain sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols during surgical procedures Monitor patient vital signs and assist with anesthesia administration as needed Document patient care activities accurately and communicate effectively with team members Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards Qualifications: 2+ years of related Nursing experience Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing NYS Registered Nurse (RN) license Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills Patient oriented Great interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) Strong attention to detail Highly organized Desired Skills: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Bilingual (English and Spanish) Experience in a periop / operating room setting
