About Our Client One of the largest and most established foreign banking institutions in NYC. Job Description
  • Assist in advancing the Sustainability Ecosystem and One Platform.
  • Develop and incorporate climate risk models and metrics into the Platform.
  • Design methods for integrating climate risks into various risk categories (e.g., credit, market, liquidity, operational) using qualitative and quantitative analyses and scenario evaluations.
  • Support the development of climate scenario analysis and stress testing methodologies, and incorporate them into business processes.
  • Refine methodologies and calculations for financed emissions.
  • Aid in the creation and integration of sustainability and climate risk scorecards into the Platform.
  • Work with stakeholders to support the design, coordination, and execution of a comprehensive climate risk management framework.

  • BA/BS in business, finance, economics, or other quantitative fields; advanced degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in climate risk modeling within consulting, banking, investment management, or ESG rating industries.
  • Proficient in Python/R and SQL; PowerBI experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of sustainability and climate risk identification, taxonomy, and mapping.
  • Experience with climate risk transition scenario analysis and integration into credit models (PD/LGD/ELs) and physical climate scenario analysis, including heat maps and business process integration.
  • Knowledge of climate risk assessment model scorecards.
  • Experience in developing metrics for sustainability and climate risk.
