Position Summary:

The Operations Analyst will play a critical role in supporting Sungrow's PV sales operations, working closely with the Operations Analytics Manager to execute and optimize internal processes and liaise with Sungrow's HQ. This role involves rigorous process management, meticulous contract review, and data-driven analysis to ensure the efficiency, accuracy, and compliance of our operations. The successful candidate will excel in organization, attention to detail, and multi-tasking across various operational workflows to support Sungrow's strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Intercompany Procurement & Compliance: Manage internal procurement processes with Sungrow HQ and international factories, ensuring adherence to transfer pricing policies. Collaborate with finance to reconcile intercompany transactions accurately.
  • Optimization of Sales Operations: Lead the development, refinement, and enforcement of PV sales operations processes. Administer the Airtable platform, ensuring it is utilized effectively, particularly within the Energy Storage Systems (ESS) team, for real-time data tracking.
  • Database Management & Forecasting: Oversee and ensure the accuracy of data in Airtable, CRM, and other databases to deliver reliable sales and shipment forecasts.
  • Contract Review & Billing Schedules: Conduct thorough reviews of contract billing schedules and contract details, maintaining accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Documentation: Document and enhance local operations SOPs to facilitate cross-training within the operations team, supporting process consistency and reliability.
  • Headquarters Coordination: Work closely with HQ to define and implement intercompany processes and procedures, fostering alignment and smooth operation.
  • Reporting & Analytical Support: Compile project data into structured reports upon completion and conduct analysis to support business forecasting and project optimization.
  • CRM Transition Support: Assist with ERP transition initiatives by mapping existing processes, roles, and responsibilities, and supporting business analysis.
  • Special Projects & Multi-Tasking: Provide support on special projects under the guidance of the Director of Operations, balancing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous experience in an operations role, with demonstrated proficiency in Excel. Familiarity with Airtable and SAP (or other ERP systems) is advantageous.
  • Attention to Detail & Organizational Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, superb organizational abilities, and a commitment to thoroughness in reviewing contracts, billing schedules, and operational reports.
  • Collaboration Skills: Proven success working within a distributed enterprise environment and collaborating effectively across departments.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex information.
  • Additional Skills: Mandarin language proficiency is a plus.

Location & Work Status:

  • Locations: Full-time roles based in Irvine, CA.
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid model, with three days onsite and the flexibility to work remotely on remaining days.
