Responsible for providing production support to the SGS Centers of Excellence and Starr Offices with regards to local policy issuances, local policy number oversight, and triaging of issues. In addition will be defining, enhancing, analyzing, developing and documenting global procedures that pertain to Starr's multinational network business globally. Business areas of focus are Underwriting, Business Operations, Claims, Finance, Bermuda Operations, and Reinsurance Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

* Following up and ensuring that the Issuing Offices are booking/issuing the local policies in within the stated timelines

* Ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are followed both internally and with Network Partners

* Validating and managing the assignment of policy numbers under the programs and standalone policies

* Develop communications is support of SGS such as bulletins, PowerPoint presentations, etc.

* Provide input into the documentation and development of global business requirements and procedures, including new systems functionality, system enhancements, and workflows

* Define and enhance existing operations workflows and cross-departmental engagements as needed

* Document and participate in UAT and deployment testing as needed

* Identify and assist in developing operational solutions in support of the new network opportunities

* Management of the reconciliation database for multinational business to ensure data is updated and any maintenance requirements are being reviewed

* Identify training and development needs through trending analysis, business partner requirements and service initiatives partner with Training and Development to share results

* Develop and support business partnerships and represent department/enterprise with internal customers and vendor partners where appropriate

* Conduct detailed analysis to determine root cause analysis in in metrics, KPIs and SLA results; develop and recommend corrections

* Communicate and implement Best Practices across the division as well as new process improvements and any other observations discovered during the audit/review process which may impact the Starr Global Solutions

* Present to stakeholders recommendations and enhancements of underlying processes to improve performance and turnaround times

* Assist in other aspects of network development, as needed

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education. Insurance related work experience a plus.

Preferred Education Specifics

Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business

Preferred Experience

* A min of 3 years of Business/Operations experience in a relevant capacity.

* A min of 2-years commercial insurance experience in either Underwriting or Claims a plus

* Knowledge or and managing Multinational Insurance and Captive Accounts a plus

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets: experience and training: licensure and certifications: and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $75,000 - $90,000.
