The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia is seeking a dedicated Operations and Data Associate to join the Operations and Data team within the newly formed Student Success Center (SSC). As a customer-facing role, the Operations and Data Associate will interact with students, staff, faculty, employers, and alumni, contributing to the team's goal of supporting student success through efficient operations and exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Event and Programming Logistics: Assist with event planning processes and day-of responsibilities including scheduling and approvals, room reservations, building security planning, visitor wayfinding and parking, staffing, communication of calendar of events, setup, support and cleanup.
* Reception and Student Support: Collaborate with team of student workers to ensure coverage of front desk and daily tasks; provide exceptional customer service by triaging student inquiries and possessing a broad knowledge of McIntire programs and services.
* Office Communications and Marketing: Gather and disseminate information, events, and opportunities to students and other McIntire constituents.
* Data Collection and Management: Support the collection of internship and post-graduation plans from students; enter, validate, and prepare data for reporting purposes.
* Office Operations: Streamline office operations to maximize time and resources and ensure excellent customer service to all constituents.

Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree and at least three years of related work experience.
* Outstanding customer service skills and a passion for student development.
* Ability to assist with occasional evening and weekend events.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with a willingness to learn new technology platforms such as Salesforce, Handshake, 12Twenty, EMS, and Stellic.
Anticipated hiring range: $55,000 - $62,000

This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs.
