The Role you will play:
  • Perform Contract Review.
  • Serve as backup to data entry, enter new orders into the Shop Management System as well as prepare and create the Job Traveler package.
  • Communicate any issues (e.g., Purchase Order discrepancy, incomplete or missing drawing, missing specification, etc.) to Sales or Marketing.
  • Knowledge in Front End Process, Booking, Contract Review, and dispatching travelers to the job floor.
  • Able to understand the difference between QA-related forms.
  • Respond to customer requests for incomplete, incorrect, or missing documentation.
  • Back up Data Entry-Scan and index Purchase Orders, drawings, and closed jobs into the electronic filing system.
  • Required certification of GDT and Blueprint
Background Profile:
  • 2 - 4 years of customer service experience working in an office or clerical environment is required; experience working in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents is required.
  • Ability to use various inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, height gages, and comparators is a plus.
  • Proficient in MS Office (e.g., Word, Outlook, Excel) Internet; experience on JobBoss, uniPoint, and Docuware is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and respond to unforeseen requests.
  • Ability to interface with all levels of employees and management.
