Position Summary: The Operations Associate will work with senior leadership to improve operational efficiency and standardization across the organization. The operations associate is primarily responsible for inventory stock levels, and supports logistics including the management of incoming and outgoing shipments. This associate will interface with all of the component and sub-assembly vendors within their portfolio. This position serves to support manufacturing and operations. Essential Responsibilities: *Main point of contact for all vendor relationships. Daily communication with vendors generating quotes, placing orders, and resolving issues. *Negotiate supplier agreements and pricing with vendors for Stereotaxis components and sub-assemblies where applicable. *Obtain necessary data from vendors for addition to Stereotaxis approved vendor list and to establish Net 30 terms and assure addition to the Great Plains database. *Provide guidance to engineering to select vendors for specific part types used in Stereotaxis designs to assure best availability and cost selection in addition to maintaining best available quality. *Recommended and coordinate component changes with engineering. *Manage and maintain inventory levels for products in their portfolio. *Prepare manufacturing components & material kits for production use. *Create and distribute manufacturing Trace Forms for production and document production progress. *Recommends inputs to inventory targets and strategies and maintain in ERP system. *Generate purchase orders through Great Plains & JobBoss2 relating to production inventory/expense requisitions. *Assign Stereotaxis part numbers to purchased items in accordance with company policy. *Receive and document incoming shipments and distribute to departments/owners. *Work with quality engineering to resolve inspection issues for incoming parts and assemblies as required. Review all non-conformances and coordinate returns for parts supplied by outside vendors. *Prepare outbound customer orders by picking correct models for order, overpacking as required, and preparing shipping documentation. *Provide all necessary shipping paperwork such as packing lists, commercial invoices, certificate of conformances as required for each shipment to AP *Interface with freight supplier web portals to schedule as needed. *Coordinate 3rd party service vendors, including facility maintenance, cleaning, and testing, equipment calibration, etc. *Produces, retrieves, and interprets reports using standard systems and tools. *Analyze and evaluate business processes & functions, implement improvements where identified. *Monitor and update the departments operational and manufacturing metrics. *Foster teamwork and enable a culture of Operational Excellence throughout the entire cross-functional team. *Utilize LEAN, Six Sigma, and other best practice tools and principles for problem solving and continuous improvement. . Job Requirements Qualifications & Skills: *Bachelor's degree highly preferred. *Familiarity with Great Plains, JobBoss2 and Microsoft Office highly preferred *Ability to prioritize and multitask with excellent organizational skills to meet business objectives *Legally authorized to work in the United States Work Conditions: This role is an in-office position at Stereotaxis' Rogers MN location.
