ACCIONA Energí­a is governed by the most demanding environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) criteria.ACCIONA Energy USA Global is looking for an Operations Performance Specialist to join our Operations and Maintenance team based out of our offices in downtown Chicago, IL. This position is key in ensuring compliance of all O&M processes at our operating sites. This role reports to the Manager of Operations Optimization and works closely with all sites on a regular basis to provide support and advise on the daily activities of Operations and Maintenance.This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, 3 days in the office per week / 2 days remote. Expected travel is up to 40% of the year. Job Description Management of information associated with operations and maintenance in order to ensure adherence to approved processes.Manage the tracking of execution of all repairs at all renewable generating locations in accordance with established procedures.Management and reporting of operations KPI's.Coordinate with support teams such as supply chain, engineering, QSES, SOC, and regulatory compliance to ensure all resources needed to execute an operational plan are available when needed.Create and maintain action plans and track risks.Assist with data collection for insurance claims.Support the development and execution of strategic plans to ensure successful implementation.Provide support to ensure high availability of equipment through an efficient preventative and predictive maintenance program.Ensure the completion and quality review of site related activities and documentation reflecting compliance with all safety, environmental, regulatory, and maintenance requirements.Provide support to Safety and Environmental compliance of the organization's personnel and subcontractors in accordance with federal, state and local laws, and Acciona policies, practices and procedures. Ensure all personnel and subcontractors meet technical and safety training requirements. Conduct and review safety analyses and reviews of hazards and energy sources.Ensure O&M Team completes all required training and miscellaneous activities.Other responsibilities as assigned Required Skills and Competencies Bachelor's degree in Engineering, business, or related discipline or equivalent industry experience.Minimum 5 years of related experience in Operations and Maintenance of energy facilities. A concentration in renewable energy industry is a plus.Knowledge in critical safety practices including but not limited to LOTO, QEW, and confined space.Ability to perform turbine climb and rescue operations from heights of 120 metersExperience with work management and supply chain systems a plusTravel: minimum 40% domestic and internationalAbility to travel on short notice to assist in incident investigations or site supportPossess a working understanding of cost accounting, budgeting and contract implementationExcellent written and oral communication skillsAble to work in an indoor or outdoor environmentAbility to represent Acciona at all levels, including professional presentations to national trade and peer groupsValid driver's licenseAbility to obtain a passportProficient in Microsoft Office applicationsAs a company that values diversity as a source of talent, we work to foster an inclusive environment that promotes respect, belonging and engagement so that all people can participate on an equal opportunity basis.
