We Don't Cheat at Solitaire!Satellite Shelters, Inc., a leader in the mobile modular industry, is currently looking for an Operations Coordinator in our Dallas area branch located in Haslet, TX. The ideal candidate will able to work independently, is a self-starter and problem-solver. Experience in the construction and/or carpentry industries preferred.Position Summary: The position assists branch management in the daily operations of the branch. The person in this role assists in the coordination of operations activities, product development and service and quality. Additionally, this position assists the branch manager/operations manager with monitoring of safety information, scheduling, reporting, and other safety related activities.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operations:Assist in the coordination of daily yard activities of workers and drivers.Utilize computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and NAV. Assist in the coordination of scheduling of deliveries, pickups, and multi-sectional set-ups.Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of this position.Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster, aid, and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.Monitor oversight of stock assignment to branches.Issue and track vendor purchases ordersAssist in the monitoring of purchasing and expense associated with the maintenance of the yard and equipment.Perform other duties as assigned. Administrative:Schedule and organize service calls, vendors and inside service techs in response to rental clients.Utilize computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and NAV.Maintain and manage filing system for branch.Acts as liaison to other departments and outside agencies.Handles confidential information.Works independently and within a team on projects.Types general correspondences, memos, charts, tables, etc.Proofreads copies for spelling, grammar and layout, making appropriate changes. Responsible for accuracy and clarity of final copy.Assist with other clerical duties such as photocopying and faxingActs as liaison to accounting department. Process accounting documentation as required.Education and Experience Requirements: This position requires a high school diploma and 1+ year of administrative assistant experience or equivalent combination of work and educational experience Experience working on an assembly or construction site a plus.Technical Capacity Shown ability to collaborate with other team members to accomplish tasks. Thoroughness and detail oriented. Required Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite Strong written and verbal communication Excellent problem-solving skills Strong Interpersonal communications skills Schedule flexibility to respond to emergency situations Current driver's license and ability to operate vehicles.Entry level to intermediate level construction experience required.Light carpentry and electrical experience.Physical/Mental Demands: Position requires a high degree of concentration to manage frequent interruptions while meeting strict deadlines.
