Management of the order taking function. Orders will be received by different means (verbal, telephone, fax, e-mail, etc.) and they must all operate properly.2. Ensure all pertinent information is gathered when placing orders (i.e., company, key contact, product, quantity, delivery date, special instructions, etc.), and ensure data is entered correctly into the ERP.3. Responsible for entering orders accurately into the database to ensure the pick tickets, packing slips and bill of lading and invoicing are correct.4. Responsible for pricing quoted to customers and prospects is correct.5. Responsible for managing and releasing pick tickets to warehouse associates.6. Responsible for verifying orders and printing packing lists and bill of ladings after orders are picked.7. Responsible for company outbound logistics, including routing and scheduling company trucks as well as quoting and scheduling small parcel, LTL and FTL loads with outside carriers8. Provide link between sales, operations, and the customer.9. Responsible for reviewing and approving freight invoices.10. Assemble sanitation binders, pail tags, and wall charts for customer requests.11. Responsible for creating and maintaining customer files including account information and price tables.Requirements
