About Us:

IAMS Wealth Management is an SEC Registered Investment Advisor based in Omaha, Nebraska. We offer full-service back-office solutions to investment advisors throughout the United States, and we are looking for an energetic and experienced Operations Director to join our growing team.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide support and build rapport with advisors to ensure continued business
  • Process new accounts, transfers of assets, deposits and account maintenance requests
  • Respond to and resolve requests via phone and email in a prompt and efficient way
  • Train advisors and their staff regarding all operations related functions
  • Proactively gather any outstanding information needed for pending NIGOs
  • Ensure accuracy of processing functions and verify suitability and compliance
  • Cross train in areas such as advisor onboarding, trading execution and sales support

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred OR equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years of industry experience, Series 65 license preferred
  • Knowledge of advisory, insurance and brokerage products as well as SEC rules and regulations
  • Knowledge of Charles Schwab's software preferred
  • Ability to effectively assess and prioritize tasks in alignment with overall objectives of the organization
  • Effective organization, control, self-motivation, time management and follow-up of work with minimal direction
  • Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond in providing customer service
  • Ability to learn specific product information, administrative systems, rules and regulations
  • Strong interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills, and professional approach
