Summary: Responsible for obtaining an advanced understanding of the treasury function, markets, and the tools used to manage the bank's various risks. Responsible for leading interactions with internal and external partners (auditors, examiners, Federal Reserve, FHLB, correspondent banks, etc.) and coordinating department responses. Responsible for aiding senior members of the Treasury team. Trains junior analysts as needed.Salary Range: The salary range budgeted for this position is $89,200/yr to $130,300/yr and represents the Company's good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The compensation offered to a candidate may vary depending on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location. The Company also offers various benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and a 401(K) match. Other rewards may include annual performance-based bonuses and wellness days. Currently, we cannot sponsor or take over the sponsorship of an Employment Visa.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Understands and complies with requirements of all laws and regulations applicable to the position
  • Assist the Treasurer with investment purchases and sales including settlement, accounting, and reporting
  • Maintain treasury systems of record
  • Track and forecast liquidity and cash positions on a real-time basis
  • Prepare materials for external distribution and committee presentation materials (ALCO, CWG, etc.)
  • Gather economic data by utilizing various market data including Bloomberg, competitors advertised rates, financial news articles, and various internet sources
  • Work with FHLB of San Francisco and recommend borrowing strategies to the Treasurer
  • Work with CD brokers and lenders to implement wholesale funding programs
  • Monitor and analyze financial market trends to assess potential risks and opportunities
  • Assist in executing fund transfers and managing banking relationships
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as finance, accounting, and risk management teams to support overall financial goals
  • Assist in developing and implementing treasury policies and procedures
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to treasury operations
  • Research and design processes and analytics that ensure the bank meets regulatory standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics required
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of related experience preferred
Skills:
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must have advanced data management skills
  • Must have the ability to interpret and communicate complex financial data
  • Must have the ability to run the financial forecast model
  • Must be flexible with duties performed
  • Must be able to work with all levels of employees and outside vendors, etc.
