Operations Manager - Chemical Manufacturing - JMI Recruiting Services, LLC : Job Details

We are currently assisting our client, an industrial manufacturer, with an Operations Manager search in the Akron, OH area.

Responsibilities:

• Owns and manages all aspects of plant production processes.
• Will manage and support 4 Production Supervisors on each shift
• Works collaboratively with Maintenance Manager and Engineering to ensure all operational goals are achieved.
• Will develop and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
• Will Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and productivity enhancements.

Key Requirements:

• Experience in a chemical or food manufacturing environment
• Lean and/or continuous improvement experience
• Strong leadership ability
