**Job Description****SUMMARY:**This position plays a critical role in directing, controlling, and coordinating all facets of plant production, ensuring the maximization of both long-term and short-term profitability for the company.**RESPONSIBILITIES:**The successful candidate will work collaboratively with Team Members to foster strong working relationships and cultivate high morale.Key responsibilities include performing administrative duties while ensuring all objectives are met. You will lead the production team in creating a dynamic work environment that prioritizes employee safety, product quality, food safety, and positive employee relations.This will involve applying Lean and Continuous Improvement techniques aligned with our core company values and behaviors.Clear communication with Team Members about project timelines and urgent tasks is essential. You will actively promote positive community relationships through personal involvement and support for local government and community programs.Additionally, you will guarantee compliance with all quality and food safety requirements to safeguard our customers and consumers, adhering to state and federal regulations.Other responsibilities encompass developing and training Team Members, conducting monthly safety meetings and group discussions, and troubleshooting production challenges.You will compute quarterly figures and assess their alignment with objectives, address Team Member grievances, and undertake other duties as needed. In the absence of the Plant Manager, you will also assume that role.**REQUIREMENTS:****Education:**A Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required. **Experience:** A minimum of 5 years of relevant management experience in a manufacturing plant is essential, with preference given to candidates possessing food manufacturing experience.This role demands a comprehensive understanding and control of the production process, maintenance, shipping and receiving, sanitation, quality assurance, accounting, safety, human resources, and material management. You will oversee the entire plant operation in the Plant Manager's absence.**Computer Skills:** Proficiency in standard computer applications, including Microsoft Office programs, is necessary.**Communication Skills:** Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must. Experience with the SAP ERP system is a plus, particularly in data management, report compilation, and overseeing data collection to update metrics and drive productivity improvements to achieve organizational targets.**Special Skills:** The ideal candidate will demonstrate sound judgment, decision-making prowess, and exceptional leadership and organizational skills.Flexibility to work off-hours routinely is required to provide guidance and training across our three-shift, 7-day operation.**Travel:** 0-10% Candidates must reside in the United States to be considered.
