Join our dynamic team as an Intermodal Operations Manager and take the lead in revolutionizing our operations! We're looking for a passionate leader with a keen understanding of intermodal logistics, drayage, and rail systems to elevate our service delivery to new heights.

This role is responsible and accountable for operating the tools, processes, and organization needed to maintain cost and service with the assets under the control of PTI Logistics. Additionally, leading a team to resolve issues while driving low-cost solutions. There are three top performance objectives that determine success in this role:

Process Development: Key in this role is developing and executing at 100% the daily operating plan to limit costs while servicing our customers. Developing and implementing short and long-term operating strategies as provided by the director. Prioritize team workload for optimal performance and coach and develop your team to succeed at individual and team goals.

Relationship Building: Engage the team to work with our partner carriers in executing the daily plan and increase potential for new opportunities. Create urgency within the team to complete objectives for great customer service and reduction of detention cost. Work cooperatively and collaborative with other areas of the business.

Measure and Feedback: Provide market feedback on cost to sales, account management, and pricing for the bidding process. Success is measured by profitability and hitting customer service expectations.

* Computer Expertise: must be proficient in Microsoft software; Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Education and experience requirements:

* Associate's degree in a related field preferred

* Two or more years of transportation experience working in sales or customer service preferred

* High degree of computer experience preferred

Total rewards package to include:

* Base salary of $60,000 to $80,000 annually
