The Operations Manager will be responsible to perform effective risk management and help plan the organization s operational strategy. They must be well-versed in all aspects of CPG operational management ranging from full SOP (Sales Order Process) to ERP and Project Management software architecture and execution.

They will be responsible for all the usual functions of that position, including reporting and analysis, profitability analyses, inventory oversight, system implementation, process building and team education and roll out.

The position will report directly to ownership and will be responsible for managing key aspects of the operations department. They will provide in depth analysis and management of all functions within the organization and help lead the company to profitable growth.

The ideal candidate will be a highly strategic leader and possess superb communication and presentation skills, coupled with the ability to oversee operations and evaluate financial processes and outcomes.

The Operations Manager will be a collaborative and visible leader who maximizes growth and opportunities in a retail and ecommerce environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Drive the company s operational planning and reporting
  • Perform risk management by analyzing the organization s liabilities and investments
  • Recommend investment strategies by considering all risks
  • Support the companies domestic operational needs and collaborate and lead overseas counterparts
  • Manage vendor relationships and communication
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing, and finance to prepare reliable current and forecasting reports
  • Set up and oversee the company s systems
  • Ensure compliance with the law and company s policies
  • Prepare quarterly operational budgets by establishing schedules; collecting, analyzing, and consolidating data from team leaders; recommending plans and quarterly process.
  • Leadership or involvement on requests for both data and analysis, as well as both leading and participating in cross functional and functional groups to drive financial and operational improvements.
  • Constantly be challenging the current processes and systems and make sure that automations and the latest tech and tools are in place to further push efficiencies

Skills/Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of proven experience as Operational Manager or relevant role, in consumer products
  • International manufacturing and retail experience
  • Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Proficient in the use of ERPs, as well as Monday.com, Asana or other project management platform as well as MS Office
  • Ability to strategize and solve problems
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers timelines
