Operations Manager - NRD, LLC : Job Details

Established in 1969, NRD LLC is a subsidiary of BAM enterprises. We are an innovator in the development and use of Alpha Energy, Electrical, and advanced Passive Ionization technologies to remove and mitigate the harmful effects of static electricity.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an Operations Manager for our sister company Motor Components, LLC. This position is a high visibility career development track leading to Plant Management, and eventually to General Management.

Key Responsibilities

The Operations Manager will maintain constant communication with all Managers to ensure the proper Operations of the Company. The Operations Manager will implement operational excellence initiatives crafted to meet or exceed the key performance indicators of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Price.

Essential Functions

• Direct responsibility in all aspects of the day- to- day operations with emphasis on the manufacturing floor
• Direct responsibility/leadership in facilitating improvements that will drive efficiency improvements on the manufacturing floor with high emphasis on Quality and On Time Delivery.
• Direct responsibility over the following areas: Purchasing, Planning, Scheduling, Manufacturing, Inventory Control and Facilities/Environmental
• Directly leading and running continuous improvement activities
• Serve as a change agent by influencing, communicating, and institutionalizing a culture of simplification, standardization, and continuous improvement

You Mush Have

• A Bachelor's Degree in Business. Operations, Math or Engineering
• 5 + years' sound experience in a manufacturing work environment with emphasis on Continuous Improvement and Lean principles.
• Strong knowledge/experience with ERP Systems and ability to maximize the related output including MRP and the related off shoots.
• Hands on track record of implementing, and sustaining LEAN fundamentals - including visual management, 5S, tiered accountability, Gemba, Standard Work, Value Stream Mapping, FMEA and SMED.

What we offer

Your salary is determined through a wide variety of factors including education, experience, knowledge and skills.
